Tragedy on 116 in Bethlehem
Driver of sedan perishes in collision with school bus
Earlier today in Bethlehem NH, a driver of a silver Mazda sedan was in a collision with a school bus on 116. The smaller style school bus was transporting 7 students from Lin-Wood school district in Lincoln, to the White Mountain Regional High School in Whitefield. Specific details of the cause of the crash are still under investigation.
Chief Anderson of the Bethlehem Fire Department shared that two of the students on the bus, along with the driver, sustained minor injuries. The three individuals were transported to Littleton Regional Healthcare for treatment. The Principal of the Lin-Wood high school was unavailable for comment.
North country transportation company WW Berry released a statement on their Facebook page that the vehicle involved in the accident was not from their fleet.
