“The Pollinators” Screening

Documentary Film Screening, Mead Tasting & Panel Discussion

“This really affects every one of us every time we sit down at the dinner table.” Peter Nelson, Director & Producer, to NPR

Did you know that one out of every three bites of food we eat depends on bees? That’s why the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire (NOFA-NH) is screening “The Pollinators” on November 11th at Red River Theatres in Concord – an award-winning documentary film following migratory beekeepers and their truckloads of honeybees across the United States as they pollinate the flowers that become the fruits, nuts and vegetables we all eat.

Join NOFA-NH for a celebration of honey, bees and organic farming at this fun and educational film screening and fundraiser. This event will open with a mead tasting, honey themed hors d’oeuvres and exhibitors at 5 PM, followed by the film at 6 PM, and close with an engaging panel discussion of knowledgeable practitioners addressing the threats to pollinators and offering solutions.
