Temporary road closure starting August 21st
Saranac Street / Ammonoosuc Street construction update
We received a notice today with an update on the ongoing sewer project in, and around Saranac Street in Littleton. The following letter comes courtesy of Kevin Hamlin of HEB Engineers out of North Conway, NH.
Good afternoon all – I just wanted to give everyone a update for sewer construction starting tomorrow Tuesday the 21st. Attached is [an image] showing the two phases and approx. timeline. During Phase I the parking lot will be closed in this area but will be reopen as they move towards Ammonoosuc St., foot traffic will stay open during construction. Delivery trucks may use Porter Street if needed and the contractor will assist with getting them to where they need to go. At the end of each construction day the parking lot will be reopened and equipment moved. No construction is taken place during the weekend. The contractor is going to do their best to get through this section by Monday the 27th.
Again sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but please bear with us during this time, I know this parking lot can get busy. Please feel free to share with anyone not on this email list. Any questions or concerns please feel free to email me or leave a message on my cell (603) 387-6247
