Spotlight – Little Trees Racing, 2001

NASCAR Driver Mike Olsen opens up facility for students.

For this week’s video in our spotlight series, we go back to 2001. LATV joined the Hugh Gallen Automotive class on their trip to Little Trees Racing in North Haverhill NH. The students toured the racing outfit of Mike Olsen, the 2001 Busch North Champion. They walked the facility, spent time in the vehicle travel trailer, and saw the shop where they build NASCAR-ready cars. Mike Olsen, his crew chief Harry Norcross, and the rest of the racing crew gave the students a comprehensive overview of many of the different techniques used to outfit a vehicle for stock car racing.
