Share the Bounty Day
NOFA-NH Celebrates Food Access & Organic Farms
The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire (NOFA-NH) is launching its second annual “Share the Bounty Day” as part of national Hunger Action Month. Shop or dine with our partners all day Saturday, September 19, 2020 to raise funds for NOFA-NH’s 2021 Farm Share Program. The Farm Share Program provides limited-income individuals with low-cost Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares, also known as farm shares, from local, certified organic farms. The program especially benefits children, families, and seniors.
Donations & Partners
Donations raised by NOFA-NH’s “Share the Bounty Day” partners will help provide low-income NH residents with discounted farm shares in 2021. This helps improve food security in the Granite State while supporting small family farms.
NOFA-NH is proud to work with the following partners on “Share the Bounty Day:”
- Concord Food Co-op, Concord
- Kearsarge Food Hub & Sweet Beet Market, Bradford
- Monadnock Food Co-op, Keene
- Revival Kitchen & Bar, Concord
- Warner Public Market, Warner
- The Works Bakery Café, Concord, Durham, Keene, Portsmouth
In 2020, NOFA-NH’s Farm Share Program distributed 43 certified organic farm shares to 126 individuals across the state.
