Mill St. Parking Lot Update

The Town and Police Department have agreed to close off the parking area overnight. There are a number of cars that are parking overnight and not moving until morning. This is hindering the road construction. That being said the main part of the parking area down by Shillings will be closed off tonight but reopen by tomorrow afternoon after they get the new gravel installed.

The contractor will not be working Monday. The parking lot will remain open until Tuesday morning for the Columbus Day weekend. The contractor is trying to move as quickly as possible through this area to get it paved. They need to get the pavement down before it gets too cold.
