Large Turnout for LRH Wellness Fair
More than 200 individuals attended the 6th Annual Littleton Regional Healthcare Health Rocks wellness fair on October 24. LRH administration, members of the LRH Board and North Country Pharmacy were pleased to host the grand opening of North Country Pharmacy as part of the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony for guests to enjoy.
Robert Nutter, President at LRH states, “We are pleased to offer the North Country Pharmacy to our patients and to the community as a whole. Learning about how to take prescription medications is an important part of healthcare. Our pharmacists are here to help as are the staff at North Country Pharmacy. This new service offers convenience to in-patients and patients visiting their health care provider at LRH. It offers an additional pharmacy for community members to fill their prescriptions.”
Fair Attendance
More than 40 local and state organizations were in attendance sharing health and wellness information for guests to enjoy. LRH provided more than 140 free flu vaccines and more than 150 people received free glucose, cholesterol, and BP screenings. North Country Otolaryngology providers Dr. Patrick Fitzpatrick and Danny Ballentine, PA provided almost 100 free skin cancer screenings and Anne Conner, Director of the Gale Medical Library offered free cardiac risk assessments.
Guests at the LRH Health Rocks wellness fair were able to meet North Country Comprehensive Pain Center providers and staff. The North Country Comprehensive Pain Center opened earlier this year. Gregory Aprilliano, CRNA, MS and Frank Valenti, CRNA, MS provide patients with comprehensive, compassionate and accessible pain management care. They provide the tools and information they need to manage their pain and return to their active lifestyle.

“LRH plans to host the 1st LRH Spring into Action Wellness Fair next April. It will be similar to the Health Rocks Wellness Fair. We hope to offer more free screenings that community members can participate in. We find the screenings to be the most important part of this event,” stated Gail Clark, Director of Marketing and Community Relations.
