During the week of October 21-27, 2018, Littleton Regional Healthcare would like to recognize our facilities team for the role they play in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our environments for patients, visitors, and staff.
The Building and Grounds team consists of Facilities Management, Engineering, Clinical Engineering, and Environmental Services. The team oversees a 232,000 sq. ft. facility that rests in the heart of a 252-acre campus. Facilities also oversees the biomass plant, which was constructed in 2014 to help lower the cost of heating the facility. Approximately 4,000 tons of wood chips are burned in the biomass plant each year.
