Hello 4-H Families!

We are so excited to be gearing up for Lancaster Fair! We already have some great entries submitted and it looks like we are going to have full participation. Please read and save this news blast for everything Lancaster Fair that you should need. Please remember that submissions to Blue Ribbon are due no later than August 20th.

Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. For questions about registration please contact Morgan at the 4-H Office. 603-788-4961. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we come back from a difficult year. Lets make this fair the best yet. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

• Items 4-H Exhibit Hall
Arrive between 3:00-7:00pm during specifically
scheduled time for club.

Tuesday, August 31

Items 4-H Exhibition Hall Arrive between 3:00-7:00pm during specifically
scheduled time for club.

Wednesday, September 1

4-H Exhibition Hall judging: Club Exhibits 8:00am all other exhibits 9:00am

Thursday, September 2

• Fair opens to the public, 8:00am
• 4-H Dairy Bar opens, 10:00am- 6:00pm
• 4-H Exhibition Hall open 10:00am-7:00pm
• 4-H Working Steer Show, 9:00am
• Judging of 4-H Poultry
• 4-H Horse Show, 10:00am
• (Horse must arrive by 9:00am)
• All Livestock must arrive by noon.

MANDATORY 4-H LIVESTOCK EXHIBITOR’S MEETING – At the Show Ring – behind the Livestock Office – 6:00 pm Friday

Friday, September 3

• 4-H Exhibition Hall open 10:00am-7:00pm
• 4-H Dairy Bar opens, 10:00am- 7:00pm
• Open Dairy Show
• 4-H Swine Show & Judging, 1:00pm, Swine area
• 4-H Goat Show, 5:00pm, Livestock Ring

Saturday, September 4

• 4-H Dairy Show, 9:00am, Livestock Ring

• 4-H Livestock Exhibitor’s pizza to go, 7:30p Livestock Ring

Monday, September 6

• 4-H Exhibition Hall open 10:00am-4:00pm
• 4-H Dairy Bar opens, 10:00am- ?
• 4-H Switch Show, 9:00am, Livestock Ring Sheep Block & Trim Demo, 1:00pm, Livestock Ring
• Livestock can depart when released by Livestock Director.
• 4-H Exhibition Hall exhibits MUST be picked
• up between 4:00pm-6:00pm

4-H Dairy Bar

• 4-H Dairy Bar will open daily at 10am
• Masks are required in the Dairy Bar regardless of vaccination status.
• Participants are expected to arrive 15 minutes early to their posted shifts.
• Duties include scooping, taking orders, washing dishes, cleaning, and serving.
• Aprons, hairnets/hats, and masks will be worn and hygiene protocols followed while working in the Dairy Bar.

• At least one adult to be present at all times
• Youth participation is strongly encouraged!

• Clean up night is Friday August 27th at 4pm
• Sign up for duties and if you can bring tools
• All clubs are encouraged to participate
